Meet Founder Jessica Gleason
Jessica’s love of dance began as a toddler and has only grown with time. She holds a BA in dance from the University of Washington, and enjoyed a professional contemporary modern dance career in Seattle throughout her 20’s. After becoming a mom Jessica was looking for a way to satisfy her dance cravings and discovered and fell in love with dance fitness! In 2014, Jessica decided to take her passion to the next level and became an instructor.
In 2017 Jessica founded Seattle Dance Fitness where in her Cardio Dance Party classes adult students not only follow along each week to original dance fitness choreography featuring pop, hip hop and Top 40 music, but they also find a super fun and welcoming community of dancers in all ages and stages of life.
Jessica created Hip Hop Kids Dance Fitness®, a program offering elementary aged kiddos the chance to find joy in just MOVING their bodies! No mirrors, no judgement, just a super fun hour of age appropriate follow-along dance fitness, including dance games and freestyle dancing too!
Jessica's Move & Grow program offers the littlest of dancers (babies, toddlers and preschoolers) an hour of creative movement and play with their parent/caregiver.
Through her online & in-studio dance fitness classes, Jessica found her calling in helping to empower her students, both adults and kids. Her classes offer a truly FUN and satisfying option for creating a HEALTHY lifestyle to last a lifetime!
