HEALTH & SAFETY POLICIES

Requiring our Instructors to be Vaccinated: Please note that in order to teach in-studio, we are requiring all Seattle Dance Fitness instructors to be fully vaccinated.

Fully Vaccinated Individuals: In accordance with the Secretary of Health’s Order 20-03.2, fully vaccinated individuals are exempt from the requirement to wear a face covering. A person is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Modern) or two weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson/Janssen).

In order to dance in-studio, we reserve the right to require proof of vaccination for our files.

Face Coverings: Participants who have not completed vaccination must continue to wear their masks at this time in all parts of the studio setting (disposable masks are available in the studio).

Physical Distancing: Social distancing is no longer required; however, some members of our community may still require space. Please help us in respecting the personal choices of participants who still need to or choose to physically distance.

You cannot enter the facility or attend an outdoor class if:

  • You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 (have not recovered or are still within the required 14-day quarantine)

  • Had symptoms of COVID-19 (within the last 24 hours)

  • Had contact with a person that has or is suspected to have COVID-19 (within the last 14 days)

Perform a self-assessment of your health prior to coming to class.

The assessment should check for the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain (away from any usual post-workout sensations), sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, or gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

If you have a fever or have any of the above symptoms, cancel your reservation and stay home.

Release of Liability and Commitment to Policies:

By choosing to attend any classes at or performed by Seattle Dance Fitness, you understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding your participation in DANCE classes. By attending, you represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation in DANCE classes.

You understand that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks and physical distancing are required, and that dancers cannot attend an outdoor or in-studio class if:

  • They or a family member have been diagnosed with COVID-19 (have not recovered or are still within the required 14-day quarantine)

  • They or a family member have had symptoms of COVID-19 (within the last 24 hours)

  • They or a family member have had contact with a person that has or is suspected to have COVID-19 (within the last 14 days)

You understand that parents/caregivers of minors who attend classes are asked to help provide health-assessments for the following symptoms prior to class: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, or gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.  Children who have a fever, or who are displaying or have been exposed to/living with someone who is displaying any of the above symptoms must stay home.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in DANCE classes, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages (known or unknown), property damage or loss of any kind in which you or your child may incur as a result of participating in DANCE classes.
